After some famous sights seeing in Athens it is time to escape from the crowd of Greece. Mykonos came to an idea . It is time to see the island and islander .It was a long dream to catch island and today this is the day after few hours i will be in the some of the famous island of the world like Mykonos . Windy island also known as the island of Gay travellers will be a nice episode of my greece touring to know also the some of the renowned cosmopolitan night life .
From Elefsina there will be a more then 10 hour voyage to this wonderland after half hour drive and i am most excited today as i am from landlock country to touch the ship. But i have done a small boating in Phewa Lake and River thames in London but it was a real different now.
Ship are huge where down stairs are for lorry and truks, bike , car etc . Customer assistant showed me the way on the top of the sheep and i was free to sit where ever i like in the upper side of the ship where i can see the open sky and clear blue water of aegean sea. See the numberous ship heading to their destinations. some one on the way to parking and waiting the information from the sea port tower actually as the plane wait many minutes while landing in kathmandu because of the pressure of air traffic.
Ship started with a big sound and a big volume of black smoke in thye clear sky. Water was push back and sheep ahead . first few minutes movement were very remarkable for me . Ship gradutually take it's certain speed and i am looking from the bar of the sheep to many islands near by . i was the only man from Nepal I guess in rooftop so it was interesrting for the most of the western travellers also to see me enjoying my voyage to mykonas .
Be careful while in ship that you have a warm cloths as the sea storm and wind are so capable to make you cold. they are same like thin wind of himalaya . but more oxygen level certainly.
After 10 plus hours sailing in the sea it is time to land in Mykonas . Wow Mykonos!!! it was decorated with all white colors houses in the lap of sea which beauty i have never seen in real life .
After checking in the an aged old hotel let's say in resonable price around 50 Euro per night it is time to see the surrounding items of this paradise . Little Venice is the genuine option offering narrow streets and lots of things to buy if you have good amount of Euros in your wallet or credit cards.
If you are not crazy of shopping and put the things in your bag you can also take things in your eyes which will remain forever and mostly i did the same . but food you cannot do this as one has to eat and it was nice to try the some of the famous Greek Food like soulvaki and ....... but price are almost double like that they are in Athens . everywhere tourist market are expencive and also it is applicable here in Mykonos .
During the two night stay in mykonos i concluded again to visit this in my lfe if I have good circumstances . it was a island of powerful youths who can dive in the Paragon Paradise and super paradise beach nude if you prefer that . it was hard for me to see the peopels laying in the sun and taking the breeze and the sun rays at once without cloths . and after visiting some of the beach like Brighton i easily adjust it and and i have no option to show the respect on the local culture and life without hesitation. world is same but ideas are different . i remembered the beach in dubai where you are not allowd to stay in beach even with two piece. But in europe you easily can see the beach without any piece of clothes . Yes there here lies the difference .
Taking picture with Petros is a wonderful idea in Mykonos and this bird gives you this opportunity frequently . You can see the many other things of island life like fishing, boating , cyclying etc to pass your days .
While walking in the street of mykonos a man shouted me saying arabi as he had never seen peoples from Nepal . he was suprised me after he knew my real identity.
Overall Mykonos was a great place to be . lots of youth enjoying the drinks and dance and not only dancing their body as they seems like dancing their soul there . everything dance in mykonas beause there is a enough wind to make it sure.
Would like to try Mykonos ? trust me your rating to this place will be 5 star.

About Myself :
My name is Nabraj Ghimire but people call me Raj for short. I am a lifelong resident of Nepal and was born in an isolated village in the Annapurna region known as Simpani -9 Khudi Lamjung , famous as the starting point of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. I have always been interested in other cultures and countries this curiosity has led me away from my traditional family farm to Kathmandu where I can meet people from all over the world and learn about other cultures and beliefs. While in Kathmandu, I completed my Masters degree in Humanities and Social Science from Tribhuvan University to learn the history and future trends that shape societies worldwide. As travel has always been my passion, I started working with a local tourism company and was inspired to start my own to help other learn about the real Nepal while learning from the travelers about their home countries. Over the last 10 years, I have worked in the travel industry while specializing in Nepalese cultural retreats and traditional trekking routes. During my off time, I travel whenever I can and have explored over a dozen countries including the mystical kingdom of Bhutan, several countries in the Middle East, Great Britain and the relaxing Greek Isles. Reflecting on everything I have seen and learned, it is my mission to inform the world of all the trips, experiences and news I have gathered from my work and travels and would like to thank you for viewing my blog.
